Hakeem Jeffries posted pictures of two Rep. Members posing with “Young Republicans” who were part of a racist text thread (as reported by Politico).

In response, Mike Davis (well-connected in Trump World & on the Hill) called Jeffries a “house slave” for George Soros - proving Jeffries’ point.

Yeah, that seems likely to me. Even if that's not correct eventually there isn't going to be the capacity or capital to keep building more data centers.

I feel like they're going to hit diminishing returns eventually assuming the price of electricity doesn't dramatically slow down AI investment first.

I think one major difference between Hindenburg and Trump in this case is that the Republican Party is loyal to Trump whereas the whole Nazi Party was loyal to Hitler and not Hindenburg.

Yeah that makes sense! I hadn't really thought about LLMs capacity to do that before. There's some interesting experiments you could do with that. It'd be neat to see how well it could guess at what an author would say if you only trained it on their novels, for example.

Interesting, I get how it could be good at emulating a person given enough text. I was thinking that you would need like a separate model that can predict how well 2 people get along and I'm not sure how you'd quantify that in a way that LLMs could train on, if that makes sense

I understand how it could match interests, but how would that work for assessing whether people would actually get along? Sometimes a person's personality can just be aggravating to another and I'm not sure how a LLM would be able to predict that.

So China imposed export controls on various rare earth metals and that caused Trump to write a huge post about massively increasing tariffs and the US doing its own export controls on China and also canceled a meeting with Xi in retaliation.
