That's lovely to hear! It's always nice when artists feel safe and comfortable enough to be seen as more than just a silent gallery (if that makes any sense). While people can get weird and parasocial, I do think a reminder of someone's humanity is important

I think the most frustrating part of this is when they -do- get to know one of us, the reaction is always "You're the only good one", and it's incredibly difficult to get them to keep being open enough to realize that the one minority person they know isn't the exception
