It definitely would have been handier if I was say, a receptionist or maybe someone who writes lots of code, or a journalist or something. It helped with my essays in uni, if anything!

I can't say that it helped me with touch typing (because I can't HAHA!), but I *will* say that it's helped with typing stamina, hand comfort and even when it comes to games! I always rest my hand on the keyboard in the touch typing position, etc. I'd say it was beneficial to an extent!

You definitely type better than a lot of people who didn't have them! I've seen people who grew up learning by interaction alone and they way they type compared to how I type, for example, is very different. It impacts stamina, speed, etc!

100% correct, kids are given phones and ipads/tablets more than they're given computers in general. Computers 1 day a week at school vs. ipads 3 days a week + at home, etc.

Yeah! The schools I taught at still have computer rooms, but none of the programs are based on typing, or computer skills in general. Computer literacy is not big anymore and I'm not sure why.

When I was younger, my dad made us play this Spongebob Squarepants touch typing game. He said that we NEEDED to learn how to touch type, to prepare us for our future, because everyone else would be.

Is this a niche experience? I just found out that people don't know what touch typing is 😭😭

Ever since my stomach infection, I've had this painful pressure/tightness in my chest + throat when I lie down. Heartbeat very fast with palpitations.

Got doc appt this week but doesn't help me now 😵‍💫🥴
