The thing about RFK jr. being a terrible head of health and human services is like…yeah. Yeah, he is literally the worst possible person for the job.

Someone please explain to me the purpose of this traffic light configuration. Burlington is full of this shit.

Surely there are enough of us that we could force the top 8 into a sort of Lord of the Flies meets Interstellar situation.
🚨 THE FINAL FOUR 🚨

We’re nearly at the end! 32 candidates have been narrowed down to a nefarious final four. But who will move on to the finals? You must decide!

Watching this years NASCAR Chicago race back and I absolutely don't remember the red flag being this long...but I do remember thinking I'd be late for the start and coming back to them on like lap 7, so in retrospect that does make sense.

if you hate unmediated AI use at your workplace without worker input, if your boss is speaking over you & for you, consider unionizing. shop and industry unions are bargaining and ratifying real, material AI protections RIGHT NOW.

When the AI boom began, copywriters were singled out as one of the jobs most vulnerable to AI. Now, three years later, I wanted to hear from workers on the frontlines of the industry, to hear what had actually taken place on the ground.

For many, it was even worse than they'd feared.
"I was forced to use AI until the day I was laid off." Copywriters reveal how AI has decimated their industry
Copywriters were one of the first to have their jobs targeted by AI firms. These are their stories, three years into the AI era.

Jim talking about how quickly things change in his testimony all while thinking he can still run the sport like Big Bill did 35 years ago is, unironically, hilarious.

Ironically, the guy who probably had the teams' back the most early on (Phelps) is probably the guy that gets shitcanned for this going sideways. Jim France ain't gonna fire himself, and OD has survived being a walking muppet for too long for this to take him down, though I'd like to be wrong.

I could replace the blower motor in my "so expensive to repair" VW in 15 minutes for less than $60. I just spent $85 and nearly 3 hours doing it in this fucking KIA.

I don't believe in the death penalty except for people who block intersections, don't brush the snow off the roof of their car, and/or jump into Teams meetings five minutes early.

Forza Horizon 4 is so much more fun to just fuck around in than 5.

Sad news for those in the auto journo space: Eric Boman passed away this past weekend. Details unknown, but he spent time writing for MotorBiscuit, HotCars, and SlashGear. Had a chance to work with him at MB and Cox Auto, he was a great, funny guy and he will certainly be missed.

Full-season points have made this year's F1 championship truly compelling, even when the racing itself is not.

NASCAR, Supercars...the ball is in your court. Pay attention.
November 30, 2025 at 6:42 PM
NASCAR's fans never forgave them for the bullshit that is "playoffs" in racing, and results like this will send Supercars down the same path.

Winning nearly half the season's races should be easily a championship effort. What are we doing here?

Had a laugh thinking about how every one of the motorsport "playoff" systems is said to "reward winning" when traditionally it drop-kicks the winningest driver of the series right in the balls and rewards being only being good in the last event

I can say that Gen AI did one good thing for me. It pissed me off so much I asked for (and got!) a promotion so I didn't have to deal with it anymore.

I’m Glad My Mom Died legit changed how I view all of my relationships and how I advocate for myself. It was, no exaggeration, a life-changing read.
performative reading, lack of reading skills, nobody's reading anymore -- NO!

tell me about a book that changed you

for me? the *extremely* ahistorical novel, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY which I read at 13 and was like, "Oh, art can be *everything* to a maker, for good and bad"

I’d guess we don’t get a decision until the new format is decided.
Denny Hamlin will not commit to racing next season today. He needs more time to think about it. Will post the video of his complete comments shortly.
