We are about to witness the last peaceful transfer of presidential power in the history of the United States.

In 2020 Donald Trump introduced political violence to the America and, with his 2024 election victory, violence has gained legitimacy.

Why would he blackmail the court; he owns more than half of it.

Historians will mark January 20, 2025 as the end of the American century (of only 80 years) and the beginning of the Chinese century.
Referring to Hegseth as the Secretary of War rather than the Secretary of defence is one of the very few changes they've made that I agree with; gone is Secdef Hegseth, now he's the SOW.
#Trump has access to the best medical care in the world; he stands a better than average chance of living another eight years.
Regardless, the #MAGA regime is established and is entrenching itself in power and ensuring that there will not be any peaceful way of removing it.
I really don't think there is much chance left of removing him, and what little chance there is won't be by peaceful means.

Call me cynical it you want, but it really doesn't look to me like #Trump is planning on leaving in three years time.

Major disasters caused $101 billion in damages in the first half of 2025 — the costliest six month period on record.

How do we know? A nonprofit had to take over NOAA’s work tracking disasters, which Trump gutted.

What else doesn’t he want us to know?

Trump’s oligarchs are now paying the salaries of The United States military.

The US military is now a private military that belongs to Trump and his oligarchs. These billionaires now expect you to serve them, kill for them, and die for them (not for the American people).

In the #AUKUS agreement, Australia is gifting $3 billion to the US so they can increase their submarine construction rate (because their $1 trillion defence budget isn’t enough to do it); how much of that money will go to building concentration camps?

It is kind of the first time we have a national paramilitary “police” force acting as an arm of the Federal Government. ICE enjoys a degree of autonomy similar to that which Himmler’s SS/Gestapo had in Germany, partly because, like the SS, its loyalty is directly to the leader, not the nation.😏
The “strategic reasons” being that we are governed by gullible fools trapped in a cargo cult.
