I have a lot of little weird moments that I love throughout the history of music videos, so I figured I’d share them here. These are probably only appealing to me, but as usual I do not care.

The media room. Knocked down a section of the VHS obelisk. Found a Jock Jams thing, a Rubber Ducks pennant, a previously thought lost Ratatat promo poster from the record store, the Street Hawk lobby card, a cool new shelf. And my favorite addition: The Watch Out, We’re Mad lobby card.

As much disdain as I have for Large Accounts that do a bunch of venting on main like they're smol beans, I have a ton more for the army of followers who swarm people like "they're a human being, don't police their expression of emotions!" This is the same as simping for favor from the rich.

Yeah, Abyss isn’t bad per se, but it’s got a lotta empty stretches. DS6 also drags for sure.

But Leviathan. Now that’s a hell of a picture. A sneaky “that guy” movie. Evil Meg Foster and her frost demon eyes. Great stuff.

Tbf I haven’t seen it in decades, but for me it was always a better movie on paper than in execution. Plus, it’s one of those movies where I truly think its knockoffs are way more fun, which probably unfairly colors my perception of it.

Watched the Siskel and Ebert At the Movies episode about The Abyss last night.

It obviously made me think of the 2nd Best “Underwater is Scary Movie of 1989”, Deepstar Six (The Abyss is 3rd, Leviathan is 1st btw), and it reminded me that DS6 has one of my favorite lines in horror movie history.

have been desperately looking for this old erotic Spanish comic I stumbled on almost 10 years ago called "El secreto de Frankenstein" and I'm so happy to report I finally found it
