After 6 years of living on a brick-paved "historical" street that couldn't be plowed because it was so bumpy, I have moved to an apartment on a paved street that is regularly plowed and, oh, I am so happy about it.

It's been 4 months since leaving a decade-long relationship that was mostly happy (& that sucked to leave) and my friends are already trying to set me up with dates.
Makes me realize how different my sense of my own timeline is. Call me back in 1.5-2 years, guys. Maybe I'll be ready by then.

The biggest difference by far watching the various campaigns as a New Yorker and all of the messaging we were targeted with I think is an important takeaway for the whole country:
