Why is it so important to you that his response not be genuine? Taken in totality of everything I've read and heard him say, it's incredibly clear that there's no part of his ideology that would lead me to believe that he is or supports Nazis. You're letting the 1% color the 99%.

Yes, they are one of many things throughout history to use the skull and crossbones. I don't really think that was ever in question. What's considerably less clear is that the insignia on that hat is the same insignia as Platner's tattoo.

Why? Again, and if no one gave him a reason to think it was something he needed to look up, then he'd have no reason to think he should look it up. It's troubling, the number of people struggling to understand that today haha. Sheesh.

Yet here we are, apparently in that exact situation. As I've said in comments elsewhere, unless somebody told him that there's a reason he should look up his tattoo, he'd have no reason to think he should look up his tattoo. I don't know why this is so difficult for people to understand.
