More #PunkRate animation!
It may be a tad clearer why I call it that in this animation than the previous one..
I have multiple views to check all angles while working; try not to get hypnotised!!

My general advice for game developers (of all scales) right now:
1) Build smaller things
2) Lean into emergent gameplay to make those small things big
3) Build them quickly with a smaller team
4) Community is critical
If you want *specific* advice for what you’re building? Let me know

I heard a tapping at my window, and it was Artoo singing for peanuts! I wanted to record for longer, but also I'm a big softie and felt bad about making him wait when he's so polite. 😄 #birds

Here are 543 images (1.5GB) of items at the Philadelphia Museum of Art arms and armor exhibit
You're free to use them for anything, even commercially. I tried to focus on details not usually represented in available reference material

More Dumping Ground for #ThrowbackThursday!
I joined in with Kilogramme a fair few times to update rigs and do short animations; I love this one in particular because there's so much going on but it still feels well paced.

trying this.
I have had the light of creation revealed to me
By replacing the default font with one that's literally scribbles, I can't get caught up in spelling, punctuation, formatting, or anything except the words coming out of my head
This is an entire page I typed blind tonight and it was AMAZING

#ThrowbackThursday; Something a bit more recent, I made some 3D assets for James May's 'Our Man In Italy' title sequence.
I *love* doing 3D for 2D and I really think I nailed this one.

#ThrowbackThursday! Here's one of my favourite rigs I ever made; a cool squishy tentacle for a series of Kaspersky short films.
Whenever I animate a clip like this secretly hope it gets giffed. Obviously something I need to take care of myself!

I recently got into a debate about whether or not BlueSky is viable for marketing an Indie game.
So here, lets see how many wishlists we get from this post.
(Yes there is a non-VR mode for steam)

For #ThrowbackThursday, here's the title sequence from Dumping Ground Series 3-
I broke down the original character drawings, rigged and animated them in 3D, rendered and comped them back to 2D planes, and then brought them back into 3D for the pop-up book effect.
I'm still proud of the juggling!

remember, the blitzkrieg is intended to make you feel like there is nothing you can do about it; that’s the only reason to go forward in this haphazard and sloppy manner all in the first week
and the choice of that strategy tells you they are afraid you *will* do something about it

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.
Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.
