I'm enjoying Dragonmeet but one of the standout booths so far for me was @melsonian-arts-council.itch.io. They really sold me on Troika in a way that hadn't really clicked for me before, to the point of signing up for a subscription.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

JK Rowling got a full *decade* of press as a martyr for being "cancelled" (declared passe by people online) and meanwhile nobody considers it very interesting that a prominent left wing author is basically banned from entering or publishing in the United Kingdom for her politics

A corollary to "please talk about indie games you like on social media" is: "Virtually all games are indie games." D&D and Catan probably don't need your marketing boost, but you can assume almost everything in the games hobby does and, honestly, creating new D&D and Catan players doesn't hurt.
