I skew more lumpen specifically because both my trade job and art school aggravated the same job related injury. Because neither kind of career gives a shit if a pinched nerve takes out your whole career at 20. Wild to cripple yourself through work and not count as a laborer.

Like if you're mad individual artists leverage copyright laws that they have no actual say in, that's like, OSHA being something that is only avaliable through unions for tradesmen, because the capitalist system is the one who enforces those regulations too.

Idk i like the basic concept of communism, but in practice seems to only count certain labor as valid, and it's not just about white collar desk jobs. Sex workers are also consider lumpen despite being laborers. People being exploited differently get lumped into the exploiters.
