Governance by petty grievance. This is what we have to deal with from the Pennsylvania Senate. Absolutely disgusting.
Sen. Picozzi and PA Senate Republicans have put out a transit funding bill that essentially forces Pennsylvania transit to "fund" itself by cancelling replacements for broken infrastructure.
Republican leader Pittman implies this is a form of retribution and says "Doesn't feel so good does it".

Very little reasoning was articulated.
It was OK-ed by the Council member, the local community, and the city's planners but some on the ZBA seemed uncomfortable with a low-ceiling comedy club, even if code compliant.

Wow, with a tied 3-3 vote the Philadelphia zoning board DENIED the special exception required to operate this comedy club, despite the support of the local neighborhood association.
