ahh! a small fluffy ghost sits on a hardwood floor staring directly at us. but actually... the longer we take it in, the more cute the ghost becomes. one could even mistake this little guy for a golden retriever puppy wearing a sheet with eye, ear, and mouth holes cut out of it. even though he gave us a fright, we would still pet this ghost puppy.

My photo shows a Roman-era ribbed mosaic glass bowl standing on a glass shelf in a display case at the V&A Museum. The bowl is hemispherical with vertical ribs and an applied pedestal foot. The glass itself is composed of various combinations of red, white, blue, green and yellow stripes which resemble ribbons or tiny flags. Height 11.5 cm, width 15.5 cm. Other colourful glass pieces are visible in the background.

Same box dye, two very different results- first photo is the child, who has very light brown hair. Second is me (obvs), with my very dark brown/almost black hair.

There’s some colour there, I swear. It’s like a burgundy tint on me, though. 🤣 And it doesn’t photograph well for some reason. Bah.

The Red-Breasted Nuthatches *love* pine nuts. Their beaks are perfectly designed for extracting them from cones. If you zoom in on the third pic you can see he’s extracting a prize #birds 🌿
