I don't want to get into a fight about mutual aid today, but this is such an important point I'm going to risk it. The incentives here are *extremely bad*. This is a website where people get mad at you for warning people they are about to commit a crime.
It's socially unacceptable to point out on this site that a huge amount of mutual aid requests that get circulated are outright scams.
