I've put a few new drawings up at
www.tomgauld.com/art-for-sale

There are also badges, prints and a zine at
www.tomgauld.com/shop
A pen and ink drawing.
Panel One:
A woman sits in a chair reading happily in a book-filled room.
 A voice offstage says
"You can't survive on books alone"
The woman replies
"Maybe I can!"

Panel Two:
"How?" asks the voice
"I don't know yet, but I'm sure the answer will be in one of my books." Says the woman

Panel Three:
Caption: However
The book is filled with yet more books.
A skull sits on the chair. It says
"I regret nothing!"

Cure your onions for a couple of weeks until the necks are papery & dry, but aim to braid them while the long green tops are still flexible. If you let the tops get completely brittle, they will snap as you weave them. You need them dry, but still pliable, for a strong, lasting braid. #onions

Needed reliability also. Went with Screenpal which I use daily on Windows. Writes to a proprietary file during recording (before converting to mp4) which means even in the case of a rare crash it's recoverable up to point of failure. Mac version also.

Not really fun, but useful and a pleasure to use: Notepad++

Free, open source, simple to use and easily configurable.

Sometimes uses version names to show support for various political issues, though there has been criticism of silence on Gaza.

Versions with names including: "Stand up for Ukraine", "Declare variables, not war", "Boycott Beijing 2022". Version names include: "leaving x for Blue sky", "in a world of Elon be a Zelenskyy", "Support Taiwan's return to the UN".

Very saddened to hear of Manchán Magan's death from prostate cancer. He always struck me as having a deep connection with being Irish, a mythological Irish HighKing, displaced in time. A gentle man and a scholar. A noble man. RIP.
