New on the blog...
Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a new place this much (not in #Cardiff, anyway)
Went 3x last week, tipped a few off, everyone who has already been has loved it.
You need to know about this place. (The next Lahore, perhaps..?)

Does the AI industry get it's electricity free too? Maybe all industries shouldn't have to pay for their raw materials either? Or here's a better idea - Nick Clegg could get his head out of his arse.
Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.
Nick Clegg says asking artists for use permission would ‘kill’ the AI industry

What’s the correct name for someone who is paid public money to represent UK citizens in Parliament but instead chooses to go before a Congressional Hearing in the US to slag off the UK and urge Trump’s government to take action against us?
and exactly where the points of the compass are at all times

And by ‘practical plan’ you mean the illegal one that didn't work, cost £700m with a projected total cost of £10bn and only resulted in three people being paid £3k each to go to Rwanda. That practical plan?

Correct.
Farage and the far right in general come from a grievance culture. If you do what they want, even maximally – Brexit – they’ll move the goalposts and keep moaning. If you engage seriously with their concerns, they’ll find new ones. You will never satisfy them, because they don’t want to be satisfied
The problem with this ‘let’s weaken our commitment to the ECHR so as to fend off Farage’ plan is that when it doesn’t work, we end up with Farage *and* a weakened commitment to the ECHR at exactly the moment we need the ECHR the most.
