For pitching authors, a quick update about what's new:
1) You will NOT receive a copy of your pitch submission via email. Last time, the feature wasn't reliable despite being enabled, and some people never received an email, leading to stress (understandably).

Seeing a lot of “stand alone novels w/ series potential” in my inbox that aren’t actually “stand alone”
For this to be true the 1st novel needs to end in a way that feels satisfying to readers. There could be a desire for more books but it ends in a way that feels “good” even if there aren’t any
