it becomes a yearly tradition, they invite via to join eventually. blitz calls it “Stolas’ gotcha day”, because while its the anniversary of a horrible day for them all, it’s also the anniversary of stolas officially joining their little family.

she admits that she was feeling kinda weird that morning, too. they all move on, acknowledging the day. but stolas is still off, and blitz can tell. and so he drags stolas & loona out for a day at the mall, just to spend time together. to have fun. enjoy each other’s company.

over breakfast, stolas still seems off. blitz checks in again, and stolas tries to brush him off - but eventually admits that he can’t help but feel like something bad is going to happen. loona points out what day it is. 2 years to the day since the trial.

stolas doesn’t know. says he just feels… anxious. feels bad. feels worried. maybe he had a night terror and can’t remember? blitz hugs him, holds him, sprinkles smooches over his lil face and cares for him until he’s calmed down. then slips outta bed to make them breakfast - the anxiety remains.

cut to two years post-MM, stolas has been okay for a while now but he wakes up this day full of pure dread - cold sweat, body stiff, stomach churning, lungs not working, tears brimming. blitz wakes up when he feels stolas dart up next to him in bed, immediately on alert - “stols, what’s wrong?”
