Senator Kelly is correct.

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

Trump loves fraudsters. They're his kind of people.
When this criminal was jailed, the judge told David Gentile and America: ‘This is a warning to would-be fraudsters that seeking to get rich by taking advantage of investors gets you only a one-way ticket to jail.’ I guess not

Any other president, when threatening to acquire/conquer the territory of our NATO allies & legitimizing territorial conquest in continental Europe by <checks notes> 🇷🇺, would have been immediately removed from office. But alas, Trump is One Special Boy & we don't have a functioning Congress anymore.
Again, this is a presidency-ending scandal for any POTUS from Truman to Obama. It's wildly irresponsible while 🇷🇺 is occupying 1/5 of 🇺🇦 & trying to take the rest, & 🇨🇳 is eyeing 🇹🇼 & others' territorial waters. It is a direct violation of our NATO & UN commitments. Why does nothing matter to the media?
i think it is great that the press is treating this like it’s just another proposal
