Happily living in the second-most-liberal precinct in Minnesota, US. Mutts, veg stirfries, nonfiction, law geekery, & scent make my world.

Thanks. Should’ve thought ti look there!
@Stephanie ghost of Stephanie Ok, now I’ve tried to find the feed (spelling and spacing different ways) and couldn’t. Would you help me find it? Much appreciated.
Thank you for the info!
The only positive to the cruddy way that Customs is treating our neighbors is that the few remaining Canadians wintering in Florida are going to leave and tank the FL housing market, which richly deserves it.
Even smart people, some of whom are in the US (whether you like it or not) respond incorrectly when people give them confusing information. I guess you wouldn’t know, what with being non-USian and infallible and shit.
No, I wasn’t! Thanks for telling me!
I bow to your inside knowledge but not to your lack of clarity in communication.
Sighhh. Sadly, you’re right.
Point is that, even in cold European places, leaves may not have turned & fallen yet (like where I am in the US, which is renowned for being cold). Likewise, the presence of Palestinian flags doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a Palestine protest (e.g., there were some at yesterday’s No Kings here).
He has a humiliation fetish?

The president needs your help! He's collecting diarrhea for his plane. He has a plane that's 99% toilet with other people's diarrhea in it and he wears a little crown when he drives it around. Brave patriots please send your loose stool to your favorite diarrhea president for his diarrhea plane.
Entirely reasonable, TO! I’ve had many pibs and mixes. My avatar girl is 3/4 pib, 1/4 boxer (explains her ears, I think). Her brother, though 40% pib, seems to favor his GSD heritage. The mysteries of genetics!
Hilarious. Never thought I’d have warm feelings for Curtis Sliwa, even briefly!
Curtis Silwa was asked if he felt okay with losing and contributing to Zohran Mamdani’s victory and he responded by laying into Bill Ackman and Andrew Cuomo.
The Minnesota one must be from the previous rally. We weren’t at the Capitol today. Our largest was in Minneapolis, though there were many others, too.
I canceled my NYT subs (except for xword) a while back, but hadn’t thought of the weight loss I’d be missing out on.
While Home Delivery isn't available in my location, the convenience of vomiting on a paper edition would streamline my housecleaning routine.
You’re just making shit up because his ideas for NYC are popular and don’t work as a dis.
My parents had enough children in the 1960s. Thanks, weirdo.
The clot has to give way sometime, though. I am grateful to inspiring young people like Mamdani, Ocasio Cortez, Frost, and Crockett. So, so grateful.
Blocking him, moving on, and suggesting others do also.
As a “young” Boomer: I’m dedicated to progressive causes and have been for forty years. But also, I’m old and ready to work to elect people younger than me who have energy and understand certain issues better than I do.
Ugh, the poor girl. I feel sorry for the daughter of the psycho GF, too, but he doesn’t have a lot of control there. At keast he can save his own kid.
Just recently canceled Philly Inq subs bc it didn’t have as much national news as I wanted. I read ProPublica, The Intercept, and The Bulwark. I subscribe to Wired & Rolling Stone. Have looked at Canadian papers but haven’t picked one to subscribe to. NPR and CBC websites are sometimes helpful.
