This morning USCIS rescinded Temporary Protected Status for Somali nationals and gave them 2 months to leave.

The State Department currently has a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" advisory for Somalia due to terrorism, kidnapping and violent crime.

Update: As of January 7, The Trace has identified 28 incidents, including 14 shootings, in which federal agents shot someone or held them at gunpoint during an immigration enforcement action under Trump’s crackdown. At least four people have been killed and five others have been injured.
