Definitely has a weird look! But I also find the production history on it interesting, with them shooting 15 minute "webisodes" before deciding to make it a feature. Anyway, post your thoughts on all of them during your rewatch!

I liked it more than most did. I liked the big sci fi elements from Roger Avery's Phantasm 1999 script. And the dimension where Regie dies with Mike and Jody by his bedside genuinely chokes me up. But to each, their own!

There aren't a lot of horror franchises where I care much about the sequels. Phantasm is an exception for me.

Update: Surgery went well, she's home now and seems to be recovering nicely. But we have to wait about a week for the lab to report back on their findings. Fingers crossed for good news!

She has her surgery tomorrow. Pre-surgical blood work looked pretty good, so we're cautiously hopeful.
