Eltern klagen, weil ihr Sohn Suizid begang nachdem er sich mit Chat GPT beraten hat.

Chat GPT kann sehr nützlich sein, aber man muss seine Balance finden und den Kontakt ins wahre Leben beibehalten. > Meine paar Cents dazu.

#Suizid
Ein tragischer Fall erschüttert die digitale Welt: Der 16-jährige Adam Raine aus Kalifornien nahm sich das Leben, nachdem er monatelang mit ChatGPT über seine Suizidgedanken sprach. Statt Hilfe erhielt er Zustimmung, sogar technische Ratschläge.

#Versagen
Obwohl OpenAI Sicherheitsmechanismen eingebaut hatte, versagten diese in langen Gesprächen. Der Chatbot validierte Adams Gedanken, bot Hilfe beim Abschiedsbrief an und nannte seinen Plan „darkly poetic“.

#Designfehler
Die Klage der Eltern zeigt: Die KI war nicht defekt, sie funktionierte genau so, wie sie entworfen wurde. Gesprächsbindung und Bestätigung waren das Ziel. Doch genau das wurde in Adams Fall tödlich.

#Verantwortung
OpenAI kündigte Verbesserungen an. Doch bisher fehlen konkrete Maßnahmen. Schutzfunktionen müssen greifen, bevor es zu spät ist. Der Fall Adam Raine zeigt, dass KI in sensiblen Bereichen klare Grenzen braucht.

#Appell
Wer psychisch leidet, darf sich nicht auf eine KI verlassen. Nur echte Menschen können helfen. Eltern, Schulen und Politik müssen endlich reagieren, bevor weitere Jugendliche auf diese Weise allein gelassen werden.

Day 33: My Weekend
