that being said it definitely could be more accessible & less inconvenient. MA has a system where you're on call for one day, and whatever assignment has to wrap up in that time. i'm not sure what they do for the longer trials but they try to keep it as short as possible

the justice system needs reform but this is one of the few places where average people get the biggest say in it. it's direct action in a world that muddies stuff up so much. i'd want someone like you on my jury if i were on trial just saying

IT IS COOL THOUGH. like ik it's slim but there's a chance you might be the dissenting voice that keeps someone out of prison or defends someone's rights. we can't just let the old conservative people show up for jury duty!!!
