Especially when my views have dropped quite substantially over the past month or so. It’s so hard to find time to write. I’m envious of how efficiently you pump them out.
If I’m remembering right, it’s one of the first Who episodes I watched when I first started getting into it. Classic.
I love that episode. One of my favorite episodes of any tv program.
Creepy cherub statue giving off Doctor Who “Blink” vibes for the #halloween season.

Those were two of my complaints as well. Between there and the coast, I think we spent more in 4.5 days than the rest of the 12-day trip.

We made the mistake of walking up the main tourist drag. Wow. Soooo many people.
Venice is filled with wonders. One of my faves is Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo. The design is magical, and a climb to the top reveals my fave view of Venice. The trick, and part of the fun, is finding it among Venice’s maze of tight alleyways.

I enjoyed Lisbon but it wasn’t my favorite. I’ve talked to lots of people who love it. I wish I got it but I never did.
I’m sure that’s an equivalent level of annoying
Did they proceed to stand their blocking people’s views for several minutes? That’s the part that drives me nuts and makes me hate influencers and other tourists in general
My pain is 20 (out of 10).

In honour of spooky month, share a 4 word horror story that only someone in your profession would understand.

Near the Convent of Christ in Tomar, Portugal is the Pegões Aqueduct, medieval aqueduct built by the Knights Templar.

It’s neat to see but the best part is you can climb old stairs to walk on the aqueduct. It’s a bit sketchy. To the left - narrow walkways. To the right - VERY high.

Two years ago in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska. One of those places where pictures and words can’t possibly do it justice.

I get it’s a tongue in cheek joke but it still is, at the end of the day, clickbait.
I saw this headline earlier without knowing (or looking up after the fact) what he said. Even still, I couldn’t believe The Guardian was stooping to such a juvenile heading.
So do I, but I’m having my doubts.
I once worked with a guy who tried to convince the office that his grandma, who was supposedly from Italy, said that Olive Garden was the most authentic Italian food she ate in America. One of the most preposterous things I've ever heard someone say with a straight face.
(Guy was a chronic liar)
That's our next governor you're talking about. Watch it.
Was up there a few weeks ago. Seems like a simple thing but one of the best parts of my time in Portugal.
On the rooftop of the Cathedral of Evora - can’t believe they let people - me included - wander around up there unsupervised! #Photography #Portugal #Architecture 📷
Just did a very short section of this last month. Beautiful trail.
