We all need to air it, as far and wide as possible. Not just UK/US. People need to wake up to the fact that we are all under attack from transnational organised crime. Nation states alone can't explain it, or address it. We're all losing.

Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey slams Farage and Reform UK’s links to Russia and calls for an investigation into Russian interference in UK politics:

“The evidence shows Nathan Gill was a close confidant of the current Reform party leader for years.”

Starmer calls Reform UK “Putin-friendly” in response.
One might add...UK is a failing state. A kleptocracy which is so reliant on US defence its leaders humiliate themselves fawning over a RU-mafia owned US President who hangs out with child sex traffickers.

What are WE going to do about it?
Yes I think if its next year, then too soon for Burnham. However im minded by the Blair/Brown experience and think it drags on into 2027+. Eventually, AB becomes their only hope. I don't see much point replacing Starmer with a close ally now. Someone else needs time to emerge...eg Kyle.

No Brit who recalls Mark Thompson's tenure at the BBC will be surprised. Mediocrity and client journalism personified.
Scoop: During a trip to DC last week, CNN CEO Mark Thompson made a visit to the White House, where he promoted the network’s new streamer

Staffers were taken aback the next morning when Thompson urged them to ease up on East Wing renovation coverage

Steve Bannon: Trump is "a vehicle for divine providence" & "an instrument of divine will".

This is such a classic part of the fascist playbook. I wrote about it last year for @bylinetimes.bsky.social.

Entirely consistent with a fascist dictator. Can we say that now or live in fear of upsetting the snowflakes?
"Such is their fear of jail, bankruptcy or reprisal, that most people I spoke to insisted on anonymity. This was in spite of the fact that many of the same people said Trump would only be restrained by powerful voices standing up to him." My Weekend FT essay. Please read it. on.ft.com/4hqblpr

By speaking solely of immigration, politicians and the media mask the underlying conditions that have created a country alienated from itself, argues Editor-in-Chief of Byline Times, Hardeep Matharu

I don't think this has registered enough. Duterte is behind bars and will likely be held accountable for his state-sanctioned campaign of extrajudicial murders under the guise of a war on drugs.

How he got there has to do with rivalries among the Philippines' political dynasties. But he got there.

Nice to wake up to a winner. 3.3 on BF.

@neilchanning.bsky.social informs me they drifted to 7.0. This seems to happen in every by election. The favourite crashes before anyone knows anything!

In the end, it's Jenrick's deep inauthenticity that is so striking. Literally no-one who went to football matches in the 1980s will recognise what he describes. They know only a total charlatan would have said it.
Yes, I subscribe to him on Substack. Excellent work!
Correct. Decades even. There is no excuse for any MSM pundit to express shock and horror.
The NYT reporting of ADF's links with Reform and funding of the British far right, and particularly of abortion protestors, is really good journalism. But you'd have to be blind to have not seen the money flowing to these causes from outside sources in recent years.
Nigel Farage has a lot to answer for.

Why did a US anti-abortion advocacy group help arrange a meeting in London with Trump administration officials?
