I was pretty sure, at age 7, that STAR WARS was just going to be some sort of battle royale for BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS.
BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS debuted #OTD in 1976.

ABC's winning team included (L-R) Robert Hegyes + Gabe Kaplan (WELCOME BACK, KOTTER), Penny Marshall (LAVERNE & SHIRLEY), Hal Linden (BARNEY MILLER), Lynda Carter (WONDER WOMAN) + John Schuck (HOLMES & YOYO).

What a time to be alive. #ClassicTV

I'm generally a fan of the Harlan Coben TV adaptations but LAZARUS is bananas. Still an entertaining watch if you accept that it is going to be BANANAS.

Where’s Paul by Jen Conley
Ryan stood next to the open casket, waiting for his older brother, Paul, who hadn’t shown up yet. The room, with its yellow walls and lights that were too bright for the occasion, was crowded. A group of his father’s friends from the retirement community, clustered in chairs, reminisced about Joseph Granger, the tall man who made them laugh. Former schoolmates of Ryan’s huddled in the back, laughing about old times.

so joyce carol oates owned elon so hard he's been taking out ads on X saying he has in fact read a book and watched a movie and he's clearly spiraling and unable to recover from such a vicious own i say to my wife as she frantically pulls out of the driveway
