Low hanging fruit but Mass Effect is one of the biggest quality drop offs in gaming history. 3 is good up until the trash ending, it'll give you whiplash if you aren't ready for it
19. What otherwise good game let you down with its ending?
It depends. I generally go with the default difficulty in any game. If I like something mechanically I'll replay it on hard. If I really like something in the narrative but I'm not as engaged with the gameplay, I'll bump it down to easy. BG3 is one of the only games I bump down to easy right away
18. When you have a choice, do you play on EASY, MEDIUM, HARD, or EXTRA HARD mode?
I want Persona style social links in basically every RPG. Any game with a supporting cast really. Let me hang out with the squad
17. What game mechanic would you take from one game and put into another?
Outer Wilds. If you haven't had that game spoiled, go play it. Unraveling the mystery of what's going on in there is like nothing else I've ever experienced
16. What games should everyone play at least once in their lives?

The theme of Metal Gear Solid 2 was accused of being plagiarized from Russian composer Sviridov so what was originally on disc isn't used anymore in subsequent rereleases
15. What piece of obscure gaming trivia do you know?
Nintendo. They've had their ups and downs but overall they've got great variety and good consistency
14. You can only play one developer's games for the rest of your life. Which dev are you picking?
The Raid, make the Sifu studio make it
13. Which movie would make a great game?
There's a lot someone could do in Night City. Make Keanu do his John Wick bit but as Johnny Silverhand
12. Which game would make a great movie?
If you don't think a sword that revs is fucking awesome we can't be friends. It's also mechanically satisfying to figure out in gameplay
One of my friends had Animal Crossing on the GameCube and all of us had our own house and we would take a little time any time we were hanging out, which was almost every day, to play a little bit. Very chill, very relaxing
10. What's a good memory you have from playing with friends?
Once my save of Final Fantasy X got overwritten on my memory card so I started it over and no life it for three days until I finished it. If I wasn't at school or doing homework, I was playing Final Fantasy
9. What's the longest gaming session you've had?
Cloud in Smash
Zangief in Street Fighter
Draghunov in Tekken
Smoke or Reptile in Mortal Kombat
8. CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER: What's the game, and who's your main?
I had the former in the past and I'm living the latter in the present and I vastly prefer the former
7. Would you rather have:
-All the free time but not many games to play, or
-All the games but not enough free time to play them?
I've never rage quit a game in my life. I've gotten angry and frustrated, but I've never thrown a controller and I've beaten most games I've played
6. What makes you wanna rage quit?
It's gotta be Pokemon. I'd have a Crogunk, a Hawlucha, and a Haunter and I'd be set, just me and the lads
5. What video game world would you want to live in?
There's too much that just came out to play. I have Silent Hill f, Hades 2, and Ghost of Yotei downloaded and I'm just waiting to finish either Silksong or Expedition 33 to get into those
4. What upcoming games are you most looking forward to?
I replayed Metal Gear Solid 1 and the story was simultaneously better and worse than I remember. Gameplay still solid. I still really loved it
3. What's the most recent game you finished? How was it?
Anything from the Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog games. Probably the springs or the spin dash sound
2. What gaming sound effect will you always remember?
I just finished Outer Wilds and unraveling the mystery of that game is a really magical experience that I'm glad remained unspoiled for as long as it did
1. What game do you wish you could re-experience for the first time?
I just got an advertisement for something I looked at on another computer with only my work credentials logged on my personal Instagram seconds after reading about it and I think I'm going to go get a large magnet, wipe all my devices, and go into the woods
Drive across Nevada at night and you'll understand why desert folks keep seeing aliens
