Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

the position of the administration it seems is that it is illegal discrimination and divisive racism for historically excluded groups to organize on that basis to improve their position. it’s basically just a genteel version of david duke’s complaint that there wasn’t a NAACP for white people

I know it is beside the point because this administration simply wants resegregation but conferences for Black professional associations have always been open to everyone. Typically, the started as a response to white exclusion, and did not replicate that.

Trump is manipulating the stock market for his mafia. They create some crisis, the market drops, they buy up stocks when they are cheap. He makes some pronouncement reassuring investors, the market rises, they make a killing. Rinse, repeat.

Yeah with my last name there's also a Cyrillic variant, thanks to the Russian takeover of Poland, which made things even more complicated. Those Kendziors became Kendzyors because the "n" got written out in Cyrillic already, but the "io" got turned into Ë in Cyrillic and then into "yo" in the US

Actually smart, and also ruthless. He's not interested in things that have traditionally been requisite for a president to know (like how govt agencies work or the histories of foreign countries) because he's there to serve a mafia syndicate, not to govern as president.
