The global dynamics of Trump's presidency can be seen as a hostage-taking exercise, where almost everyone is either compelled to flatter his ego or has an interest in doing so.

The one exception is China, which is why watching what it *does* is the best indicator of Trump's true power and leverage.

Since January 2018, Swedish publisher #GuiMinhai ’s whereabouts and well-being have remained unknown. His family does not know whether he has received medical care or is even alive. The #China govt has not disclosed his status following a #UN inquiry.
