I see what's going on here, the logic to initially sync follows is currently assuming people are on a bluesky PDS so it's not working for anyone on blacksky or an independent PDS.

I'll look to fix that when I get some time.

Worth reading this guys even if you think you already know.

Believing there is still gender inequality in AoNZ, which there blatantly obviously is, puts us in the minority of men.

Hard as it is, I think that's the happier path. Aiming to feel stronger and healthier and just accept that as a man in my 40s the gut is probably here to stay.

I think I'm still kinda hoping I'll get back into some of my nice shirts from my 20s, but that is feeling like an unrealistic goal really at this point.

So I think aiming to feel healthy and good in myself has to be the goal.

Seems such a small thing, but yet a big thing.

At the start of the year I decided it was time to start working out regularly for the first time in decades, just a few times a week, make it sustainable.

I haven't actually lost any weight, and my waist is still the same.

But I feel better in myself and am getting definition so that's progress.

Yeah, that won't be helping at all. I think sometimes we all need a bit of a reset to really refocus on those things.

I think a lot of that is because the US system was explicitly designed not for parties and parties break some fundamental assumptions of that system.

I think the key thing is to embrace that they will exist.

So mmp for local bodies as well perhaps?

I mean there's a plot line involving somone going there.

I assumed there wasn't a specific connection but that it all came from that plot line and the selection of place for that plot was kinda random.
