This is not original and I can't remember who said it (on this platform), but it resonated: Being contrary just to be contrarian (ie, "insipid contrarianism") doesn't make you an independent thinker, it makes you a teenager

Bottom line: Covid vaccines help.

Getting boosters helps.

Covid vaccines targeting more than one mutation help more.

Immunity is better if you get the vaccine before getting an infection, rather than the other way around.

“Letting it rip“ is a bad strategy.

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information.

Today would be a great day to ban ALL elected officials from trading stock, don't you think?

Again, if this is a legitimate reason to kill someone (it isn’t), then there was nothing the survivors could have done to avoid being killed. And we know that can’t be right, because the USMCJ cites the killing of shipwrecked people **as its prototypical example** of an unlawful order.
4/ Even worse on these officials account, it seems if the third view is correct, that was a reason to kill the survivors.

You read that right, and I am not exaggerating.⤵️

A shipwrecked person beckoning others to come rescue them is a basis for killing them.

Truth.
I'm not sure that any of us have been able to fully process people who had some measure of power (Republicans in Congress, the Supreme Court, university presidents, high-powered lawyers, various CEOs) so casually surrendering it in ways that may not be easily reversible.

The most interesting part of this story isn’t that the pipe bomber is MAGA. That was blatantly obvious. What should interest folks is that the FBI and DoJ hid that fact from you, and still haven’t made a statement. This info is coming from sources on the condition of anonymity.
