Considering the threats we have from then US administration, this is troubling. Personally, I think there is too much American presence in Canada already.

I've worked many elections, both using hand counting and tabulators. Hand counting isn't difficult. At the same time, tabulators aren't some weird evil conspiracy thing. The only thing is that tabulations can jam when people are voting and that's a pain.
