Many thanks to all who emailed Penryn Town Council to register their opposition to glyphosate spraying on Penryn streets. Together we managed to win this vote and postpone the selection of contractors. Many thanks to Cllrs Hanks, Hart, Spry Leverton and Hepworth for speaking out.

KAGLA: this word means "to spatter with filth" in Cornish, but it's also the name of a central character in my fantasy setting. He's a legendary goblin chieftain...
I also use bad Cornish in this setting, so "spatter" is ideal!

When Kernow last enjoyed a level of autonomy (the Stannary Parliament - last convened in 1753) it was entirely because of our critical mineral industry (Stannary from stannum = tin)
If we are to truly benefit from a renewed mineral industry we MUST again have a level of devolved responsibility.
