Reform UK want to take public spending down to 35% of GDP — that’s a £275 billion cut, the equivalent of shutting down the NHS.

The Green Party knows the only way to rebuild our communities is by investing in our public services, not running them down and flogging them off to the private sector.

I need some help from a proficient Cornish language speaker please! I paint landscapes & when my work is based on my homeland I always use the Cornish language as titles. The trouble is I don't speak it. Literal translations from English don't always work poetically so a little conversation 1/2

A Green government would proscribe the Israel Defense Forces as a terrorist organisation.

The forces currently actioning war crimes and genocide upon the people of Gaza on behalf of the Israeli government.

I hear you. I’ve taken the eco populist route and joined the Greens. Here’s hoping we can inverse-farage the Overton window leftwards and the Labour Party back to some semblance of decency. Four more years… let’s see.

Sure, I’m partial to your oeuvre. But it’s grim that we hold ourselves in Britain to such low standards, no? That our politics is so captured and so many are happy to just play along. Things is, I & pretty much all ex Labour voters I know will never vote for the party again. The centre hasn’t held.

Labour can in no way be considered on the left any longer. Your and others’ Overton windows maybe Enoching their way to a Nuremberg rally but any sane evaluation of today’s “Labour” party clearly shows it has not the least interest in those it was founded to serve.

People stop going out for walks, traditions like mushroom picking in autumn are dying out (an 80 year old was shot dead just 50 kms from my house picking mushroom in the woods). The hunters attitude is that of the gangster. Walk in our woods, it’s your fault if you’re hit. Vile, unbridled thuggery.

More than a bit. It’s nuts. I lived there for seven years and in winter I would drive every day from my rural home to a town 8kms away to walk the dog. Not just people get shot; dogs, cats, horses, anything that moves. The dread of the Sept-Mar war against nature was felt by so many. So oppressive.
