Raptors are being illegally shot, trapped or poisoned – often by gamekeepers trying to protect gamebirds bred for shooting.

Dog fighting is a horrific crime, often hidden & linked to organised criminal networks.

Thanks to a tip-off to our Animal Crimewatch service, our team uncovered a network operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

These photographs remind us of the beauty of our wildlife, foxes, hares, stags and otters, living freely in our countryside.

But they are still under threat from weak hunting laws.

Hunts across the country continue to exploit loopholes in the law, using trail hunting as a smokescreen for the chasing and killing of wild animals. Stronger legislation is needed to finally end this cruelty.

Some claim trail hunting is a “legal and legitimate activity” that needs no further legislation. They would even go as far as to say that “any new legislation would be unnecessary and unjustified”.

Evidence suggests otherwise. #TimeForChange #FarcicalFriday

Right now, cub hunting is taking place - where young foxes are chased, terrorised & killed so hounds can be trained for the main hunting season.

The government is soon to be consulting on hunting laws. This is our chance to demand change. https://leagueacs.co.uk/2NjeK
