This is what they do so often though. And it's not just elected officials, it's dems in general. When you start calling them out and telling them they're not being progressive enough or they're being hypocrites, they jump right to the false equivalence and appeal to perfection fallacies.

I'd have to look for it, but there is some data that shows that when Black people gained civil rights, white people went out and adopted a bunch of dogs to cope. It is fascinating. Right up there with TV dinners literally being slave in a box (that one's a book)

For the record, we are currently in year 6 of 10 of the killing part. People are dying slower, but they're still dying of complications like strokes & organ failure (instead of insanity & spontaneous organ rupturing).
