I have no hate in my heart. I don’t understand hate. When I say, “white people,” I’m speaking of the structure and the destruction inherent in whiteness. You may not have contributed to both, but you can’t help but contribute to one. Your being is a part of the structure. Change begins there.

It's not your job to carry the baggage.

Might I encourage, pointing and laughing hysterically at any politician or ICE. They are used to boos. They can spin that. You cannot spin someone pointing and laughing at you like the joke you are. Being mocked is their worst fear.

Just because you are "value added" does not mean they care about you. It merely means you provide something they need.

"I'm not sorry you feel that way."
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
So what I think I'm hearing you say is, it will be slow and painful.
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
I think we ask so little of those that don't. Those seeking power cannot do so without those that don't. You cannot expect a few to think of the whole, but the whole should stand up to the few.

How many times will he mention the Peace Prize while he's in Egypt?
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
That's the thing, I don't believe there is a world of difference.

If you were Black, living in that time, you were risking your livelihood by existing. There was safety net. Even getting a ride, not the bus, still put your job in jeopardy. Clearly we see differently on this. As I said, it all boils down to, what you are willing to give up for the change you want?

With all the "terror" going on in Oregon, I was really concerned about the Pinot Noir vineyards, but it seems the blow up animals and nude cyclist have it under control. Making it more difficult for Trump to whine another day. Plus, he's out of the country, so that will allow him pivot.

This is why I say, when you see politicians or ICE in public, we must point and laugh at them hysterically. Boos no longer work. They expect and can spin boos. But you can't spin being pointed and laughed at for being the joke you are. Being mocked is their worst fear. We need new tactics.

Nina Simone singing, "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" got me over swaying and feeling good.

It's harder to blame ANTIFA when Black folks have not taken to the streets in protest. Of course, that also means they can't fathom people inside inflatable animals might be Black. And therein lies the rub.

Right? She revitalize the careers of so many white men. Get back to that. Has she aged out of that?

If you run the DOJ, insider trading is ok for your friends. No need to look into that.

So they have a Tyler Perry in Japan too. New market untapped.

Candy Corn has a short yearly shelf life. She hustles hard this time of year, to make sure she can chill for the next 10 and a half months. To that, don't be surprised if a bag puts you back $10. She's gotta do what she gotta do. Think about the candy corns to come.

The bus boycotts started out as such, but grew due the level of community support, means to an end. Again, it returns to capitalism. If everyone feels it is not possible, then the rich get richer and for everyone else, it's another after the fact situation. "People do what they can,", but do they?

It was a powerful day. I'm pleased to have been a part of it. This was the closest thing to the protests of the '60 that we'd seen. It was brutal, yet lives were saved. But the cops also learned new tactics from those demonstrations. We have to find new tactics and this will for change again.
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
I agree more than not. That does not negate, people will protect themselves first. In the 60s, Black people had no place or position. They were willing to "sacrifice." Yet, when I ask, "What are you willing to..." that gets sidestepped. That's not small. Will you not go to work for a week a month?
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
Oh, yeah. 100 percent in favor of that. Take all my candy. You know what, take that jack-o'-latern too.

Duty is important. But when capitalism is at play many are locked in, afraid to lose their place or position. Even soldiers enlist due to capitalism, lack of options, not merely duty. Yes, we all must do what we can, but that has to consider the whole, in a nation built on the individual.

We are paying to work more, under the guise of saving time. It will get worse.
bkjwordplay.bsky.social
That's a point. But what do you give up in my asking you, what are you willing to give up? History has shown, when it comes to justice, politicians only make change based on the actions of the people. Every day, I see people anointing a politician for doing their job. They will not save us.
