I'm a first year clinical herbalism student based in Quebec!

I'm especially passionate about #sustainability, #conservation, #LGBTQIA issues (I am #trans and #queer myself), and fat health (i.e. being healthy while fat). I love #crossstitch and #cooking, too!

I thought this would be a good time to share my Starter Packs again. This is a nice, friendly group of Canadian Witches, and you don’t have to be a Canadian to follow them!

The rhubarb has started to make an appearance. It’s the first fruit of Spring and always gladly met.
It's snowing so hard today! I love winter so I'm sad it's coming to the end, but at the same time I'm getting antsy for my little porch garden and my little woods waking up from their long sleep.

Found Fukt Magazine 22 (the nature issue) at Unitom book store, Manchester. It has an article on queer ecology featuring my illustrations for my project on #QueerBotany.

Now, more than ever, we need to lean in toward the light.

Look to the plants…build community, walk with compassion and love, stand strong like an Oak.

ANYWAY, did you know there's an extension you can put on Chrome that will connect with your local library system and when you go look at a book, say on AMZ, it will tell you if that book exists in the library system and if it's available?

It's literally called Library Extension.
thank you! definitely looking forward to a nice dinner :D
After hours and hours of studying, today I passed the first of my Materia Medica courses! I'm so happy, it actually went really well and now I can breathe again haha. #queerherbalist #herbsky

America's public lands have given me so much.

I'm going to start posting my photos from a different federally managed location each day, to spread the joy, the awe, the wonder and perspective.

1. Nearly a century ago, Nazis burned trans books to usher in fascism.

Now, Trump is doing the same, digitally burning all records of transgender people and striking the community from records.

This must be seen for what it is: a move towards atrocity.

#tbt to this test piece from 2023. I wanted to experiment with stitching a #blackwork #embroidery gradient, which has since become one of my favourite tricks. Free pattern is here for anyone who'd like to try their own: www.loosethreadstitchery.com/s/Transition...

✨New Waspaganda✨

Despite their demonization, Vespid wasps are hardworking ladies who work together to get it done & fulfill their niche (pollinating, hunting, defending). I believe they are powerful symbols for worker resistance & deserve more respect.

I love Obsidian! I use it to organise my Materia Medica and it has been crucial to keeping my notes organised in a way that works with my brain.

I mean this. When Shillace’s book comes available, everyone should read it. One of the most incredible histories of the rise of fascism in Germany and the trans people who lived there.

The stories are incredible and the things she uncovered are indispensable.
My only New Year's resolution for 2025 was to try 25 new soups. This is #5, French Lentil Soup! It was so, so good, I wish I had made 2 batches. #whatscooking #foodsky
