people will always point to having too many commas as the mark of an amateur writer but not really diagnose why that happens, so here is a helpful question to ask yourself: does this sentence need the comma, or was it you pausing before deciding the second half of the sentence

Apparently I read 12 books this year.
Favorite is tie between THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE THE TIME WAR and HAMNET. Worst was the Siri one, I couldn't even finish that dreck.

I am trying to remember a book that my grandma let me read. All I remember is that it had a tower, an elf, and a character was trapped in said tower. It was also erotic in nature. I think the MC was forced? (talk about an awakening for teenage me!) Anyone have any idea?

Thinking about Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Belle was my favorite princess growing up because of the books. She's my favorite now because the idea of being kept and that turning into love tickles some ideal heart of mine.
