Saw a movie recently where a character from Delhi travels to Kerala and generalises South Indians by mixing Tamil Nadu, Telegu, etc references when talking to the character from Kerala which clearly pisses her.
I have experienced similar in reverse and I'm not even from North.

Every day that goes by, every action the Labour govt is taking, make me want to not vote for them the next time around. They are now backing the 3rd runaway at Heathrow despite opposing the same when Tories were in power. They are trying to make EV undesirable by taxing them per mile tax.

As usual the govt focuses on the wrong issue. Asylum seekers using taxis isn't the issue. The issue is someone gave them an appointment for a GP 250 miles away. .

The UK govt plans to add a 3p per mile tax on EVs from 2028 while for plugin Hybrid it's 1.5p per mile sending the discouraging message that it isnt cheap or good to be green.
They also seem to have forgotten the Window tax of the past and how people handled it.
