There was definitely a gender bending to the character of Cherubino that was riffed in the opera several times.

This queerness in full view was not something seen in mainstream entertainment in the 18th Century & was audacious Mozart being audacious.

Having that said, for the late 1700's it was pretty revolutionary.

I especially appreciate #Cherubino, a character playing a 'trouser role.' This means it is written to be played by a femme presenting character coming off as masc.

The opera started at either 7 or 8 most likely, it makes sense to have Leo on the Midheaven as a performance especially one that takes jabs at kings!

The minor aspects this chart feels akin to the clues that Mozart would drop in the script to who would deceive who & how they would become unravelled

The first opening overture is absolutely iconic though! It's very interesting that this debuted during a Mercury retrograde conjunct Venus opposing the ASC of this chart, since so many of the schemes/plots are unravelled by unwitting communication.

This opera was considered controversial/ found to inflame the discontentment festering in the lower class into the French Revolution

Though he was making jabs at the ruling class by detailing them as manipulators, he didn't establish an anti-thetical role in the servant class. Everyone was scheming
