just a historical reminder that movies used to have 2 hours to tell a story while TV had 7 minutes to tell a story — before a commercial break.
now tv has about 10-12 hours to tell a story without any commercial breaks. more time to indulge. so movies are starting to push to 2.75 or 3 hours.
