One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

I've been there recently, when I was informed that OCD didn't make me neurodivergent. Blurgh. People with OCD have unique brain wiring and patterns that require constant managing. It's a lifelong condition. Gatekeeping sucks
The reason i don't talk about my neurodivergence is because a handful of people who are autistic informed me that bipolar is an illness and autism is not an illness...and illness is not a part of neurodivergence

I find it kind of beautiful that we're seeing the next iteration of Apocalypse World's DIY art. Two of the biggest names in indie roleplaying games show, once again, that it's not about spectacle or expense. It's about using the skills you have and the skills you can develop to make it how you can.
