Finding all manner of cool things about the 5-key Beatmania games tonight, mostly related to the sound playback. There's a sound priority system in there I wasn't aware of! The chart designers could set some sounds to a lower priority so that the foreground/longer ones could keep playing.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
