I guess the brave BBC will be sandblasting Orwell's "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear" off the front of Broadcasting House?
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

This is objectively bollocks by Malhotra, so very much in tune with Labour comms on this.
People's circumstances change, global situations change. That is the main reason why you get people on one visa route needing to apply for asylum. It is not "abuse of the system"

Let’s never forget rationing ventilators and Zoom funerals. Boris Johnson and his cronies partied while our loved ones lay dying alone. COVID-19 was the worst public health crisis in a century. We should have locked down earlier. To some of us, PPE was not a get-rich-quick commodity.

Tomorrow we hear the sentencing of Nathan Gill, Nigel Farage's close colleague for decades. Leader of Reform UK in Wales and MEP alongside Richard Tice, Dr David Bull, Paul Nuttalls, Martin Daubney and Alex Phillips. All of them have remained quiet on him.

All of them have explaining to do.

When elected officials
worked
FOR THE PEOPLE.
The moment when 30 million American's received healthcare (2010) The moment when insurance companies had to start covering preexisting conditions, young adults could stay on their family's policy and I could trust that the small print couldn't screw me if I needed serious medical assistance. 🇺🇸

Coverage of the refugee proposals demonstrates why we have such a broken political system. Endless focus on left-wing anger and right-wing support. Basically nothing on whether the reforms will work. They will not, which is why we'll still be here having the same debate in three years.

He shouldn't get away with this. No one else would but there are too many powerful people who are happy to support him because he serves their interests. So they say nothing and let him carry on.

Doctors are not the problem. Politicians are the problem. 💙🚨
