Turns out it was written and directed by Frank Capra, with Marvin Miller, June Foray, and Mel Blanc doing voices. This thing had a surprising amount of talent for one hour of two guys talking to cartoons about the circulatory system!

Things I do love about the internet: I can remember a bizarre-as-hell educational video I watched in middle school, and, with only the barest of searches -- "educational movie about blood cartoon", I can find it, AND it's on YouTube.

They learned that they needed to control the narrative -- so Roger Ailes created Fox News.

They learned they needed to control the courts -- so the Federalist Society stepped up to vet lawyers to serve as judges.

With that, Congress could ignore the President's crimes -- so they do.

Oh, certainly -- but once it's obvious that they're not being enforced, then more people can discard them, and off we go in a handbasket.

Laws only have power if people are willing to enforce them, like any fiction does. Honor, law, justice -- these things don't exist save that we make them do so.

When people with the power to flaunt them do so, breaking the social compact, well... it's harder to convince ANYONE to abide by them.

If anything, the Trump administration, the Supreme Court and the GOP congress have proven to me that neither the Constitution nor the Rule of Law means a damn thing in this country. It has been a myth.

A little over twelve years ago, this bundle of mischief and joy wrapped in soft silky fur came into our lives.

Today, he left us, with his dignity still intact, for age had bitten off too many chunks of his health.
