I read a tip earlier this month that I'm going to start implementing–when you purchase something online and they require you to sign up for their mailing list, note in one of your name boxes the website you're filing the form out on. Then you know who sold your data when your inbox gets clogged.

The shutdown has ended but the effects continue
The government shutdown has impacted my family in ways i cannot weather. I've set up a page to help care for my service dog and my son's cats at this time. There are no programs to help them, if you could please share the page i would appreciate it greatly.

Plumber confirmed that the fuses blowing yesterday was due to the water heater and we need a new water heater. I did find the fuse for the water heater itself so we're good heating wise
(last night we had no light or heating in half the flat, which is less fun).

He's worried I might have Cauda Equina Syndrome (and fuck I have all the symptoms) and wants me to have an MRI to rule that out.
I'll have to call our Healthcare rep on Monday but I'm already pretty sure I can't afford that...
