Which I'm sure Welker followed up with a question about...

Yes, typically asbestos filled structures are demolished in a few days with no mitigation measures and dumped by a golf course under a mesothelioma cloud.
WELKER: Why didn't the president tell the public he was going to tear down the entire East Wing, which as you know is part of the people's house?

BESSENT: Well, I think this was a judgment call on the president. The president is a master builder. It could've been asbestos. It could've been mold.

the way Trump and his administration keep going on livestreams and tv to laugh about this, I can’t really compare it to anything political that comes to mind, only thing that comes to mind rn is a serial killer who writes letter taunting family of their victim.
Trump’s victims are now washing up in Trinidad:
“The U.S. campaign targeting what it says is drug trafficking from Venezuela has exposed Trinidad to the fallout: unidentified bodies with burn marks and missing limbs showing up in its territory.“

I haven't seen people here mention this letter from the mayor of Illinois' 2nd-largest city (Aurora, 40+% Latino)

to the Aurora Police

following egregious attacks by immigration in Aurora and related protests

So here it is!

So they have hundreds of millions just lying around that they’ll never miss to give to the government programs immediately, is what they’re announcing

Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.

There was almost certainly lead paint in that rubble. Many folks have wondered if there may have been asbestos as well. Whatever was in there will now be leaching into the soil at this golf course, and from there into the waterways...
The White House's East Wing construction rubble was taken to East Potomac Golf Course. It was reported that the rubble will be used to create mounds on the golf course.

I've been saying for months that experts are avoiding speaking to the press bc they're afraid of blowback from Trump.

Democrats should be blasting ads with video and images of this literal and metaphoric desecration in every television market in America.

This is a drum I've been banging for a while -- if it were true that higher taxes made rich people flee for low tax areas, there would be no rich people living in CA or NYC! It's a claim that's used a lot by anti-government types and it's long been visibly and demonstrably false.
I'm good with him dying today, btw

BREAKING: In an unbelievable moment, angry New York City residents witness ICE detaining people on Canal Street, and chase them out of the area, chanting "ICE GO NOW!"

New York is fed up with Trump's fascism!
It's probably a lot of "I can see they were non violent, but I can't bring myself to say it."

Kavanaugh stop
“Once my colleague pulled out his camera, the agent put away the gun," Huynh told the Sun-Times Tuesday night. "[But] if they can do this in broad daylight to an elected official, and point a gun at someone, imagine what’s happening behind closed doors.”
