i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.
It’s a real mindfuck when most ppl wanna post about their latest failures/successes, or weird shit they saw in the wild or cool stuff they made…but the country is a cesspool so cool/weird shit seems trite.

Once I saw a lady approach the person at the desk, pick up one of the drawings for sale and ask “So what’s the best way to clean these up? I like buying them when I’m here but do I just erase that?” The artist stared at her horrified and said those are the sketching lines, it’s part of the drawing.
It makes me think of the people they have in Disney parks who you can watch sitting at an old animation desk (with a professional disk, using blue col-erase pencils) and pay to have them trace drawings of Disney characters while you watch.
Realizing that most video content from artists that does well sells the aesthetic IDEA of being an artist more than the art itself. The art is incidental
